Fall of Icarus

Christepher ClarkApril 3, 2009English 102-KiernanFall of Icarus This allusion to a classical myth by William Carlos Williams tells a story of what the environment was like when Icarus overleap into the ocean.  The myth tells that Icarus father Daedalus crafted a set of locomote out of heighten for severally of them to persist from exile.  Before they took off, Daedalus warned Icarus non to fly too close to the sun or too close to the sea.  After they began flying Icarus became overwhelmed by his sweet ability and flew too high.  The sun melted the wax wings and Icarus cast into the sea where he drowned to death.  When Daedalus had realized what had happed, he headstrong to bury his son on an island which is now called Icaria.  The sea into which Icarus fell is to a fault known as the Icarian Sea laid between Cyclades and Asia Minor.
